I am a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner, born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, with over 20 years of experience in human services and social work. My professional journey has taken me through a variety of settings—including community-based mental health programs, nursing homes, and hospice care—each shaping the empathetic and client-centered approach I bring to my work today. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2019 and went on to complete my Master’s in Social Work at the Grace Abbott School of Social Work at UNO in 2024.
My clinical practice began in 2023 during an internship, and I have been working in private practice ever since. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals with borderline personality disorder and thought disorders such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. My focus is on reducing stigma, promoting self-understanding, and helping clients cultivate more fulfilling lives and healthier relationships.
I am especially passionate about working with women who feel disconnected from their true selves—those who struggle with vulnerability or feel burdened by the expectations and pressures of everyday life. I strive to create a space where women can feel seen, heard, and supported as they reconnect with their authenticity and resilience.
Additionally, I am dedicated to working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, offering a safe, respectful environment where they can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build meaningful connections.
